10 Simple Ways to Practice Gratitude

It has been tough year for everyone. Wherever you are in the world, you have most likely been affected by Covid either directly through the virus itself, social isolation, financial hardships, civil unrest and overall unease in heart and mind. More than ever before, our overall well-being is suffering and more than ever it is important to focus on creating and keeping up a Gratitude Practice!

By doing so we take control of where our attention goes. When we focus on what we can control, within the the realm of our thoughts and actions, we can turn a negative cycle into a positive one. People who regularly practice gratitude experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have stronger immune systems. All because they take time to notice and reflect upon the things they are thankful for.

Rain Forest Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica, October 18th-23rd

Rain Forest Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica, October 18th-23rd

I am thrilled to announce my upcoming Costa Rica Retreat in the fall of 2016 together with Just Breathe Yoga Studio! We will spend 6 days and 5 nights in the middle of the rain forest at the Eco conscious retreat center Finca Luna Nueva, built on a 200 acre organic farm.

Imagine being one with nature and awaken to the sounds of tropical birds and howler monkeys. Imagine breathing in the deep, clean air of the rain forest and unwinding to the natural rhythms of this tropical paradise. If you can - join us!

We will practice yoga twice a day, eat delicious food from the certified organic biodynamic farm, explore volcanic hot and cold springs and other amazing group activities. There will also be a lot of downtime for self exploration and to enjoy the magical land of Costa Rica.

If you want to stay longer, just let me know and I’ll help you book the extra nights in paradise!

109 World Mission: Education in Latvia

Let's inject the world with more LOVE!

I am traveling to Latvia in the end of May with the social enterprise 109World to join their mission 109Education where I will be sharing Yoga and Expressive Arts with children that have been brought up in institutions.

As you can imagine these children have had a lot of trauma in their life. Yoga and Expressive Arts can help manage stress, foster emotional healing, build confidence and awaken individual creativity. These tools can help them turn into healthy, thriving individuals of their community, breaking the vicious cycle of poverty and social exclusion.
